Trump administration officials have been pushing to keep a controversial wall in place at the southern border, and they’ve been asking the public to take more photos of the barrier, according to a new report.
The White House’s Office of Management and Budget said the border wall was still being considered by the Trump administration.
“We’re in the process of looking at the border barriers and what we need to do to ensure that our border wall remains safe, secure and in place,” the office said in a statement.
The agency said the White House is still looking into how to secure the border in the event of an emergency.
The agency said there’s still work to be done to better monitor border crossings, improve border surveillance, and monitor border crossers.
